BACKSTORY.

When Raivai was a baby he had been abandoned by his mother and left at the doorstep of an orphanage, when around the age of 5—8 he was placed into the foster system and went around from foster home to foster home. The first foster family that took him in was a couple, the father was a drunken bastard who took his rage out on the children and especially Rivai. It got to the point where Rivai was knocked out at one point which one of the older kids reported to the authorities——so they took him away.


He was back to his case worker and she gave him a new home, he thought it would be a better home. He was 10 at the time and this time it was only a man who had no other children in his care. He took Rivai in with the worst intentions . . after five days of Rivai doing nothing but chores—he made the mistake of washing the dishes later then usual. The man had come home from work and beat Rivai and sadly took advantage of him.
This time Rivai had nowhere to go, no one to help him get out of this hell.
this continued going on for months until Rivai turned 11 and on his 11th birthday late at night he ran away to a police station and the man got arrested.


Back to finding a new home.


Years had past and Rivai was now 18, he was out of the system and he was on the streets. To make money he tried selling his body multiple times but it was never enough, soon he even thought of preforming.
He wasn’t an experienced singer so he didn’t know how to go about things. He just stood at the corner of a street and sang a few songs——his voice was almost angelic with every word he sang. He was getting tips and even one day he got to sing at a cafe where the lead guitarist of an indie group came up to him and asked him if he wanted to join them since they had no lead singer and that’s where his career started.


Rivai from there became a hit singer and even wrote his own music . . but his past still haunted him no matter how famous or happy he needed to be. It ate him up every morning he got up.


Soon enough. . to numb the pain he began doing cocain and an entire cocktail of pills and different other substances.

It made the pain go away for awhile, but he knew he just had to keep going until the pain permanently stopped.

To this day he’s never quit, no matter how many people he’s lost due to his addictions. He became a solo act over night because his band mates were tired of his behavior and how aggressive he got under the influence.

But in his view it was worth it.
